What is Botox?
Botox is a nero-toxic protein, this means that is toxin that paralyses mussels. The effects of this paralysis are temporary lasting only 3-4 months. It can be used to treat spasms and dystonia but we use it in a much weaker form to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

How do we administer Botox?
Treatment is administered by several small injections of Botox in and around wrinkles. The effects are seen within three days and the injection marks are normally not noticeable after the first day.
